Graduated from the Economic Faculty of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1973.

He is now one of the world’s leading experts in comparative studying, the theory of functioning and management of economic systems. Academician Nekipelov is the author and co-author of more than 300 scientific publications and works. He is a member of the Russian Government Council for Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness. He is also a head of scientific economic section of the Security Russia Council of Russian Federation. In mid-1990s he became one of the founders of Russian-American Group for Economic Transformation. I. Bukina graduated from Moscow State University, Economic faculty in 2002 (Master degree), worked in business. I. Bukina received a Ph.D in Åconomics from Institute of Economics RAS in 2006.

Since that time she has combined doing research and teaching. Now she is a lecturer at Moscow School of Economics MSU, The Higher School of Economics, Russian State Tax Academy. There are such courses as “Taxation”, “Taxation in foreign countries”, “Tax administration in foreign countries”, “Macroeconomics”.

Her main scientific interests concern taxes and taxation, institutional aspects of tax administration, fiscal policy, effects of fiscal-monetary coordination etc.

M. Golovnin was born at January 5-th, 1978.

He graduated from the Economic Faculty of Moscow State University (Bachelor School at 1998 and Master School at 2000) with honors. Master of Science degree is on Economic and Social Policy.

M. Golovnin received his Doctor degree (in Economics) on April 5, 2011

M. Golovnin received Candidate of science degree in 2003 at the Institute for International Economic and Political Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences. Thesis: “Monetary sphere in transition economies (comparative experience of Russia and Central and Eastern European countries)”. Scientific adviser – academician of RAS A.D. Nekipelov.

M. Golovnin works at the Institute of Economy, Russian Academy of Sciences (before 2005 – Institute for International Economic and Political Studies, RAS) since 1996. He took the positions of junior researcher, researcher, senior researcher, deputy Head of the Center for Problems of Integration (later – Center for Problems of Globalization and Integration).

In 2004-2005 and 2008 he was the winner of the Russian Science Support Fund’s competition within the program “The best economists of Russian Academy of Sciences”.

2006-2007 - scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation for young scientists and their research supervisors’ support.

Scope of research interests: monetary policy, financial globalization, monetary and financial integration.

One of the famous specialists in economic theory, market economy reforms in the former socialist countries as well as economic integration in the post-Soviet space. During the last years he has been successfully developing a brand new model of government behavior in modern market economy (R.S.Grinberg, A.Y. Rubinshtein «Economic sociodynamics « 2000, R.S.Grinderg «Rational government behavior», 2003). Ideas suggested in these works are recognized in the world scientific circles. Published over 200 works in Russia, Austria, Poland, USA and Germany.

Andrey G. Korovkin

Head of the department of labor recourses forecasting in the Institute of Economic Forecasting of Russian Academy of Sciences.
In 1971 he graduated from the Economic faculty of the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University as economist-mathematician by specialty.
Since 1971 he works in the Russian Academy of Sciences. In 1971 A.G. Korovkin has started his career in the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute Russian Academy of Sciences as a stasher-researcher;
since 1973 he works as junior scientific research fellow,
since 1983 – as a senior scientific research fellow.
In 1986 he began to work in the Institute of Economic Forecasting Russian Academy of Sciences as a senior scientific research fellow. Since 1992 he is the head of the department.
In 1979 he has obtained an academic degree of Candidate in economic sciences.
In 2002 Andrey G. Korovkin has obtained an academic degree of Doctor in economic sciences. The theme of the dissertation was: “Macroeconomic analysis and forecasting of Russian labor market and employment sphere dynamics”.
In 2005 he became the professor of the Social and Economic Forecasting Department in the State University of Management.
Since 2006 A.G. Korovkin works at the General Economic Theory Chair in the Moscow School of Economics M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University.
A.G. Korovkin is one of the authors of the teaching aid: “National Economy Applied Forecasting”, issued 2007 by Institute of Economic Forecasting and Moscow School of Economics M.V. Lomonosov Moscow state University. A.G. Korovkin has also contributed to the editorship of this book. In the teaching aid the overviews of the domestic and foreign methods to complex analyze and forecast the national economy are given. Applied forecasting methods and tools and the principles of its implementation are discussed. The special attention is given to the problems of economic-mathematical modeling and of obtaining perspective national economy development estimates.
A.G. Korovkin is the deputy chairman of the Expert Board in economics of the Russian Humanitarian Russian Foundation.
A.G. Korovkin is one from the narrow circle of experts involved in the project “Strategy 2020” He is  a member of Expert group number 7 “Labor market, professional education, migration policy”.
A.G. Korovkin is the author of more then one hundred papers, including 10 scientific monographs, devoted to the problems of national economy analysis and forecasting, especially in the field of labor market and employment sphere development.
A.G. Korovkin is the chief editor of the paper «Scientific proceedings: The Institute of Economic Forecasting of Russian Academy of Sciences».
Scope of research interests are concerned with the national economy analysis and forecasting; labor market analysis and forecasting on the macroeconomic level; labor market regulation problems; social security; the development of the models and methods to forecast the labor market.
He has made the important contribution to the methodology of labor supply and labor demand adjustment. His works in the field of the population and labor force movement’s analysis,   methodology of local labor market interactions investigation, as well as his achievements by developing the system of methods to analyze and forecast the key labor market indicators have deeply influenced economic science evolution in our country.


Viktor B. Kuvaldin

Member of the Executive Committee of the Gorbachev Foundation. Doctor in History, Professor

Graduated from the MSU Faculty of History in 1965 . In 1969 defended his Ph.D. and in 1975 - his Doctor thesis on contemporary history of Europe and the USA.

Many years worked at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations, USSR Academy of Sciences. Since 1992 has headed various analytical departments in the Gorbachev Foundation. Victor Kuvaldin is one of Russia’s most recognizable political analysts. He is an author of over 50 studies including two monographs. His sphere of interests ranges from current problems of international policy to the formation of a new political system in post-communist Russia. Recently has focused on globalization and the interconnection of its various aspects.
One of the founders of Club-93, Realists’ Club, Council for National Strategy,Unity for the Sake of Russia Foundation.


Vladimir L. Kvint

Dr. Kvint is one of the founders of the Theory of the Global Emerging Market, author of the first book on this subject -“The Global Emerging Market in Transition” (USA, Fordham University Press, 1999). From 1991-1992 and 1997-1998 Dr. Kvint was an Economic Advisor to the President of the United Nations' General Assembly and has been a member of the Bretton Woods Committee (Washington D.C.) since 1993. Dr. Kvint is an Honorary Doctor of the University of Bridgeport (USA), Vlora Technological University (Albania), Donetsk State Technological University (Ukraine), the North-Western Academy of Public Administration of the President of Russia. He also received the title of Honorary Professor of Economics from the Graduate Institute of Oil and Gas (Kazakhstan), St. Petersburg Academy of Management and Economics (Russia). Since 2005 Dr. Kvint has been a professor of Management Systems at LaSalle University in Pennsylvania. Dr. Kvint is the author of 23 books and more than 350 articles. He has received research and national awards from Russia, Albania, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, USA and Ukraine.

Graduated in 1978 from Moscow State University and in 1981 from Graduate School at the Steklov Mathematical Institute. Got his Ph.D. from Steklov Mathematical Institute in 1983 and D.Sc. from Central Economics and Mathematics Institute of the Russian Academy of Science in 2000. Professor (tenured Full Professor) since 2007.

In 1982-2006 - research (Leading research since 2000) fellow in the Department of Theory of Probability at the Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Science. In 2006-2009 - Professor at the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation. Since 2009 - Chief research fellow in the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute of the Russian Academy of Science.

Teaching experience in leading Russian universities since 1985. Since 2002 - Full Professor at the Gubkin State University of Oil and Gas; since 1999 - Full Professor at the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation (part time positions). Courses in mathematical methods of control in insurance, in actuarial mathematics, in actuarial aspects of the bonus-malus systems in automobile insurance, elementary courses in algebra, analysis, theory of probability and statistics.

Natalia M Rimashevskaya is specialist in the field of social demography and economic sociology, creator of the system of knowledge describing social sphere and social policy in its practical application. She initiated a new research direction in Russia – gender studies. Main directions of the theoretical and practical studies.

Results of Rimashevskaya’s work have a inter-disciplinary character, covering economics, .demography, sociology.

Scientific interests of N.M. Rimashevskaya are connected with finding out the causes, factors and consequences of the demographic crisis in Russia; defining the ways to its overcoming; elaboration of the methods for estimation of the quantitative and qualitative parameters of human capital; examination of the dynamics of the individual and social health in modern Russia with the purpose of overcoming the negative trend; assessment of the impact of gender stereotypes on the demographic processes; the role of family in the current socio-demographic development; development and reformation of the pension system; the ways to overcome the social inequality and poverty in Russia; health of children and youth: the state, factors and main directions of its radical improvement.

Director of the University of Texas Inequality Project. For the past 20 years Prof. Kireyev has been directly involved in the activities of three major international economic organizations—the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the World Trade Organization. Since 1993, he has been economist at the IMF working under the leadership of Michel Camdessus, Horst Kohler and Dominique Strauss-Kahn. In 2000-03, prof. Kireyev was IMF representative to the WTO. He also served as economist at the World Bank Moscow office. Before that, he was member of the staff of President Mikhail Gorbachev, and held a number of academic positions at leading institutions of international standing focusing on international economics.

Grzegorz W. Kolodko

Leading architect of Polish economic reforms and a world expert on transition and development policy. Director of the TIGER – Transformation, Integration and Globalization Economic Research and professor at the Leon Kozminski Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management in Warsaw (WSPiZ), Poland

He is a leading expert on globalization and postcommunist transition to a market economy. While Deputy Premier and the Minister of Finance (1994-97), he led Poland to the OECD. Holding the same position again in 2002-2003 he played a key role in Poland’s integration with the European Union. In 1989 he was participating in the historical Polish round table which led to the first post-communist government in East Central Europe. The United Nations, IMF and the World Bank have sought Professor Kolodko’s expertise. Visiting professor at Yale, UCLA and the University of Rochester, New York as researcher he delivered lectures at academic institutions and organizations worldwide.

Professor Kolodko is the author of 35 books and over 300 articles and research works, published in 23 languages around the globe, of which a majority is available in English. His book «From Shock to Therapy. The Political Economy of Postsocialist Transformation» was published in 2000.

He is a marathon runner and world traveler who has visited over 110 countries.
